I tore cartilage / meniscus in my knee. I am resting, icing and taking anti inflammatory medication. Do you know of any herbal remedies?

You could try tying a leaf of the plant Calotropis gigantea, if it grows in your area, over your knee, for about one hour every day for some weeks.
You can see its picture here:

It helps in reducing pain and swelling through its natural healing effect.

I don't know about herbal help, but I know that yoga can greatly help with almost any problem with your joints. You'd have to stay on the drugs for awhile, and use the yoga as physical therapy.
