Is There a Herbal Cure for Paranoia?

by John
(Glendale, CA)

I would like to start by saying thank you for taking a look at this. My brother began to be paranoid about 5 years ago. It really wasn't that bad at the beginning, but it slowly got worse and now its accelerating fast. It's to the point where he has no friends, his girlfriend is about to break up with him, and he thinks that everyone is trying to do something to him. Whenever he hears a helicopter, he thinks that its spying on him. Also if we go out to eat, he still that the people are going to poison his food. He does smoke marijuana, but does not drink, smoke cigarettes or do any other drugs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, John

Sounds More Like Schizophrenia

That same progression happened to my sister 25 years ago. She, like your brother, smoked pot a lot. Because she felt nothing was wrong and that everyone else was the problem, she never got help and would not take medication. She is totally gone now. Gov won't let you do anything to him if he is over 21 (like have him committed - forcing him to get help)but he WILL convince you that you are responsible for his needs. Then turn around and tell you you're worthless and that you've never done anything for him (until they need you again...). Get off the merry-go-round now while you can! You can't help him - and if you don't distance yourself, you will suffer needlessly and maybe permanently.
