Herbal Remedies Worked Magic

Hi,

I started making herbal remedies from recipes that I got from www.herbalmedicinerecipes.com and it really helped me lower my cholesterol, blood preassure, etc. But I was wondering what are the side effects from herbs. I went to FDA website and they don't have much info since herbs are not controlled substance. I am sure it's safe since it's all natural, but if you know something, please let me know.

There is a website www.mountainroseherbs.com They sell herbs and such but with each herb they sell they offer herbal advice both contemporary and folk lore. There are indications and contraindications listed. Also, if you Google Susun Weed and go to the web site, there is a large amount of knowledge which she shares about making herbal remedies in what ever way you wish.

Make sure the herbs you use are organic!

You can have an adverse reaction to anything, herbal or not. Even regular foods. I would suggest that you do as much research as you can to learn the historical uses of the herb. You can also consult the Nutritional Healing Guide for do's and don'ts of an illness and of herbs. A word of caution; not everyone knows all that they should, herbal or traditional. So go slowly and listen to your body and instincts.
