Fatkadi/Alum Powder

The shop I got the alum powder and rose water from was a grocery shop in Southall called S & S Halal Meats. You can call them first to see if they have them in stock first, their tel- 020 8571 4070. There are different kinds of rose water. Make sure you get the cosmetic purposes one which is called Life Style Rose Water, with Pink and White packaging. That's the one I'm using. And alum powder is a small jar with yellow packaging (which is also the one I'm using. Remember you must try for at least 1 month. Rose water cost £1.99 and alum powder £1.69. If they do not have them maybe the other grocery shops in Southall may have them.

HOW IT SHOULD BE APPLIED

Take 1 teaspoon of Alum Powder, 3/4 tablespoons of rose water (99/100% pure & natural rw). Mix it well for a few minutes or until most of the powder has dissolved. If skin is TOO dry use water instead. It is better to remove the hair first and then immediately apply the mixture on to the area. But it is best to apply it first where you normally remove hair coz it may or may not work on u so best to just test it first. Use cotton wool which is really cheap from boots, sainsburys etc. Dip the cotton wool so it is soaking and rub it of the area for few mins quite firmly and then leave for 15 mins. After 15 mins you should see dry white kind of stuff. Get another (dry) cotton wool and rub it again (circular motion always when applying something on your face)for a few mins and then wash with just warm water. Do this every other day but best once a day max. There, your done. Inshallah it will work for all of u. Please let us know how it went. Worked/not worked? Take care.

To stop unwanted hair growth, mix the Alum and water/ Rose water to form a light, stiff paste.
Use a cotton ball to apply to the face/other areas.
Wash off after 15 minutes.

Re apply at twice daily intervals.

I have bought fatkari and rose water but do not know how much fatkari I should put and how much rose water and how long I shall leave it on for. I have asked several people but no one is being specific as to how to mix the two products. Please if any one knows how to mix it and how to apply, then please can you let me know. I would be very grateful?

I heard the same that ALUM powder (fatakadi) however spelt does get rid of unwanted hair, heard this remedy from a professional beautician bina khan, she has many more useful remedies and has her own website, shes great with the remedies that she provides.however the rose water that she recommends is quite expensive 100ml for 14.99.apart from that i will hopefully be trying out the remedy with another natural rose water i have purchased from boots which only cost me like 3.00, so hopefully it works well...
