Herbs For Hemorrhoids

There are two types of hemorrhoids ~ internal ones develop inside the rectum and may cause bleeding after a bowel movement, but otherwise have no symptoms because there are no pain sensors in the rectum.

External hemorrhoids occur around the anal opening and may be painful and fragile, bleeding easily after a bowel movement or when wiped with toilet tissue.

A primary cause of hemorrhoids can be straining during a bowel movement, because it puts excess pressure on the veins in the anus and rectum.

Other contributing factors may include, obesity, pregnancy, and sitting or standing for long periods of time.

the tendency to develop hemorrhoids increases with age and appears to run in families.
