Clove Syzygium aromaticum (Clove Family)

Anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antimicrobial and antifungul. Useful in treating food poisoning, parasitic infections, and peptic ulcers.

Cloves have anodyne, or pain-relieving properties which have made them a popular folk remedy for treating toothaches. Fresh and dried flower buds are used medicinally, and clove oil is extracted from the leaf and flower.

CAUTIONS: Do not give to children under 5 and always dilute clove oil in water or another oil.
