Black Cohosh Buds Black Cohosh Cimicifuga foetida (Peony Family)

Native Americans gave this herb the name, "squawroot," and have used this herb for female health for many years.

It is still valued by women today to help in the balancing of hormones.

It has been shown to be useful in treating stress-related symptoms of PMS and menopause.

It is also used for treating uterine fibroids and infertility.

The roots are used medicinally in tinctures, capsules and tablets.

CAUTIONS: Not for use by girls who have not reached puberty. May have mild sedative effect. May also interfere with blood pressure medication.
